A view of my process of how I go from first thoughts (I want to draw Spidey) to the final image.

Enjoy

this is so cool..so I am not completly crazy with my process...I go through many versions before i go with the final one, and may tweek that before I'm done. I have decided to draw She Hulk to switch to Wonder Woman at the last second. lol

Love it! Can definately use this for my own process-work .. When you have your characters shape down you just directly go to background?

I do the figure first then design the background. Then I ink (draw) the background so that way I make sure the buildings are fully thought out. Even if a lot if going to be covered I make sure I see it all. Then on a new layer I ink (draw) the figure. Then I delete the background the is under the figure. Though you can just add a white area behind the figure, that way the full background is still there so if you need to move or scale the figure the background is still intact behind it.

That's what I thought - I somehow always have trouble with backgrounds in my process somehow, I neglect them and it's a shame cous I don't really learn anything from it. But thanks - definately useful!

No problem, it takes dedicated attention to get better at backgrounds.
